Representative Gerry Connolly of Virginia's 11th congressional district has died at the age of 75 after battling esophageal cancer. Former President Joe Biden said that Connolly was "a man of deep integrity, principle, and purpose," and that "he was a dear friend, a fierce leader for working families, and someone I was proud to partner with throughout our careers."
